So big mistake eating a god-knows-how-big piece of Filet Mignon last night. I knew it a bad idea while i was eating it and I knew i was going to know it some more the next day especially in the morning when I had to get up and go to the gym. Fortunately, I don't think it affect me as much as i thought it would but then again I did modify my run. I ran slower today. I rather ease up on myself instead of sticking to my plan and feeling completely defeated because I wasn't able to do as well as I had planned to. And it worked. I did 10 mins at 4.0, then 10 at 4.5 and 10 more at 5.0. Not bad though not the plan i wanted to keep to for the next week at least, ah well there is always tomorrow and the rest of the week for that. I just know I won't be eating that much meat anytime soon.
So summary of the work out. I burned 274 Calories and ran/walked 2.49 miles in 34:00 minutes. I think I will keep it light today food-wise. i am looking forward to tomorrow and Saturday and doing longer runs. Yay...
One thing though... my right hip is hurting some. I feel pain on my right side. It isn't so bad when I run, actually I don't feel anything then, but I do feel it afterward when i am on the train and then I really feel it at night right before I go to bed....I may have to get myself checked out. This is not good and I don't want this pain to be the reason i stop exercising again. So much for feeling the good kind of aches...this one is not so good.
