So I really didn't want to run. I came home threw myself on my bed and wanted to either take a nap or go out and meet my honey and her friends to eat. Buuuuutttt, since I was tired I knew I wouldn't be good company and I figured at the very least I could get out and just move. I would walk if I had to but at least it was better than laying around doing nothing and feeling sorry about myself and dwelling on my tiredness.
I got dressed and prepared to head out. I was determined to go slow but after what I thought was a slow warm up, I was actually running faster than I was targeting. For the beginning of my tempo run I actually had to slow down as I was going faster than my MGP (marathon goal pace). After that it felt nice to run at marathon pace, I do wish I could push myself like I did earlier this year but I feel happy and comfortable at the pace I'm going now I am just going to keep at it. My shin was hurting at the end so I'm not really sure what that is about....hopefully nothing.
Well another workout done and I feel great afterwards. I have to remember this feeling and hang on to it so that it will motivate me to keep working out.
