Day 24: Running again...at least attempting to

So i was energetic enough to run but not to run very fast. I only went as high as 4.5 mph. Pretty pathetic but I'm going to get myself up and going.

Here is what I did:
burned 240 calories by walking/jogging 2.33 miles in 34 Mins.

I hope that by this weekend I can do better. :-/

Another lazy day

So after my jog/walk on Saturday I ended up with a terrible headache that didn't go away fully until last night. I was feeling weak and fatigued and my head all achy. During brunch I took a shot of Geritol and some tylenol and it helped. Geez do i really need to do all that to feel better??

I hate to say it but I hope the dr finds something wrong with me because I just cannot take feeling as crappy as I have been feeling. I am going to get home today and eat small amount of meat but loads of greens!

Unfortunately today I mostly ate cashews. I had a good breakfast...1/2 cup of oj at home. Then a yogurt, banana, blueberries and all bran buds. Then coffee. I attempted to eat my lunch leftovers but total yuck. I had hibachi seafood and i picked through most of it and just couldn't finish it. I just ate more cashews...bad bad...I didn't even drink enough water...I will have to make up for it throughout the rest of the day.

I didn't get up to jog today but lets see if i can get myself to the track today or i will just wait until tomorrow morning to run.

I want to get back into this and not have excuses as to why i can't run anymore. ugh!!!!

Day 23 bayside marina

so a week and 2 days later I finally head out for a jog. I jogged then walked then jogged and walked...you get the point. It was warm and I lack energy...what is wrong with me???? I may need to see a doctor to make sure everything is ok...I would say I jog/walked a total of 4 miles in about 45 mins.

Okay off to do errands. I need to figure out how to motivate and keep motivated. :(

Yesterday and Today

So yesterday I ran in the morning. I took it easy. I went for a walk during lunch and after work I went to jog in Central Park with a coworker and the Team in Training crew. Woah lots of exercise! I didn't go today as I didn't want to push it. I will run tomorrow morning and take it easy again and then will prepare for THE run tomorrow. A bit nervous but I'm sure it will be okay.

i was pleasantly surprised that I was able to run as I did yesterday. I really had no idea of my capability until yesterday since I do most of my running on the treadmill. I did run outside at the beginning but was not successful at being consistant.

Well once I got home I had leftovers. BBQ chix with brown rice and a yummy salad (baby spinach, onions, goat cheese, red onions, craisins, walnuts, tomato, balsamic and olive oil).

This morning i had a bowl of cereal with half a banana. then i got to work had a coffee and 5 crackers with strawberry jelly. Lunch was salad with a red wine vinigar dressing, mushrooms, olives, red peppers and small pepperoni pizza and then the cheese of a tomato pizza. I had 2 macadamia nut cookies and about 1.5 cup of coke...bad bad! oh well I'll have a light din din. OH and I forgot i had about a cup of lucky charms dry. :)

No workout or walk today because of yesterday's run and work. But I may see about getting some type of walk in tonight or stretch or something. I have to prepare for tomorrow. Nervous and excited!

Day 21 and breakfast

4 days later I am back at the gym. No headache, no tummy ache..yeah!
here is how I did: burned 261 jogging/walking 2.3 miles in 31 mins. I took it easy since I will be running later today with Lindsay and Lis in Central Park. lets see how I hold up. :-/

I actually made oatmeal today...its been forever.
~1/2cup of dry oats soaked in 1/2 cup of water
1.5 cups of 1% milk with 2 tsp of cinnamon
1/4 cups of raisins

Brown rice half cup and general gao simply asia chix with snap peas carrots and brocolli.

very hungry...need to bring heartier snacks so I don't have to snack on too many things. ugh...will have to drink lots of water. Don't want to go bizerk for dinner.

Breakfast and snack

This morning I had a medium-large banana;
bowl of honey bunches of oats (I'm sure it was more than the serving size)
with lots of 1% milk. I love lots of milk in my cereal.

So far at work. I've eaten a few Almonds (lime and chili flavor) I would say about 3-4 almonds
1 pc of orange flavored dark chocolate
8 oz of coffee with 2 raw sugar and low fat milk (1/2 tbsp)
3 prunes

3 days no run and run is in 3 days

Ugh!!!! I didn't run this weekend. My body went into ultra lethargic mode. I mean it took quite a bit to motivate to do anything. My body literally felt heavy. I even took a nap on Saturday...a nap! I don't take naps.

Last night I set myself up to run this morning. I prepared my clothes in the living room so that i could be ready to get up and go...well nope that didn't happen. I woke up around 4am with the worst headache ever. I thought it was the 2 hard ciders I had last night but later realized that my sinuses were actually the culprits. I still have a mega headache will take tylenol in a bit. I have a walk this afternoon but i'm even tempted to ditch that. I am feeling sooooo bummed about how I feel.

In addition to my tiredness and now headache, I have really come to terms that I am just eating incorrectly. Yesterday I had a burger, fries, hard cider, and cake for dinner and dessert. And so far already I had a piece of dark chocolate. I do think I need to keep track of what I eat in addition to what I am doing. Thankfully so i can text my entries so that should make it easy to keep track of my food. So I am going to do that for at least a week. I need to prepare food the night before and I need to stick to it. I need to feel better about myself from the inside out.

Day 19

took some Mylanta this morning and did absolutely great!!! I feel great as a result. I ran at 6.0 for about 10 mins! WOW!
Burned 316 calories run/walking 2.78 for a total of 33 mins.

If it doesn't rain I will be joining the CU wellness program on a walk today. We will walk every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I am glad. It will motivate me to move more during work hours. I just wish the bag they gave me did come with a pedometer like it was suppose to. I was so bummed it didn't because I would like to keep track of how little I move when here.
Well lets hope for no rain until later today.

Day 18

Struggled again thanks to my stomach!!! Could it be acid reflux??? I have to get some Mylanta to take in the morning. I feel great and ready to run but my very top of my stomach hurts. I don't get it!
Well I did quite sadly, burned 268 calories run/walking 2.41 miles in 31:13 mins. I walked more than I wanted to but at least i did hit 6.0 mph. Will get mylanta and see how i do tomorrow morning after taking some maybe the night before?? hmmm...will find out.

Sunday morning work out. Burned 462 calories run/walking 4.29 miles in 54:18 minutes. Felt good at the end but struggled! Could I be in pain due to some type of acid reflux???

Day 16

Felt nauseous as I ran, probably since i ran in the afternoon and had food and water in my tummy. Was a pathetic run but i really wanted to run. I wanted to run a total of 4 miles but I walked a lot and then was in the process of getting kicked out of the gym.

Burned 384 calories run/walking 3.78 miles in 52:01 minutes.
I want to run/walk 4 miles!

Day 14

Today's work out. Burned 293 Calories run/walking a total of 2.65 miles in 34 mins. Felt like a weak workout. I am tired. I haven't slept well the past 2 nights. I do hope I sleep heavy today. I may need to do a walk during lunch and after work to wear myself out some more. I am tired I am getting myself some crack coffee downstairs at Orens.
